Christian Since: I have been a Christian all my life, but I only started to understand the real meaning of being a Christian in the year 2000 when I began to respond to God’s Holy Spirit working in my life.

Why I love the Lord: There are many reasons why I love the Lord.  The biggest reason is that He loved me first and gave His life for me so that I could have eternal life.  (John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. NIV) I didn’t deserve that love as I was quite a sinner.  He forgave me and adopted me as a son of His.  Hallelujah!

I love Him for being my Creator and blessing me with the beauties of life.  Every day I thank Him for the splendors of His nature and for making a difference in my life.

I love Him because He gave me victory over my sins.  As long as I was trying to get rid of my sins on my own, I was a slave to sin.  Once I invited Him into my life, He got rid of my sin and gave me victory! (1 Cor 15:57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” NIV) Hallelujah!  Thank you Jesus.

I love Him because He gave me victory over unforgiveness and filled my soul with love towards others.  I feel compelled to share this good news with others and offer them inner peace, which is only possible through the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit.

I love Him because He is there for me when I am facing the huge trials of life.  He gives me strength to go through these trials.  Alone I would be crushed.  With Him in me I am peaceful! (Heb 4:15-16
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” NIV)

I love Him because He gave a purpose in my life: to reach out and touch the lives of others by speaking the Truth to them.  The Truth is no other than Jesus the Christ. (John 14:6-7 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (NIV)
